Which Sound Files to Copy?

Ok, tried the select HD audio and clicked the remove HD audio...but no luck, good picture but no sound.

So basically, the ONLY audio track on the BD is HD and can't be copyied over and played thru streaming. So what does everyone else do in this situation?
Has to be a way to copy the movie and get some kind of sound track to work with it.

The movie I am working with is..The World is Not Enough..it has 3 video tracks and 3 audio tracks. Haven't figured out if selecting a diferrent video track has any real affect on the outcome. But the 3 audio tracks (one is HD and the other 2 are English AC-3/2, and seems both these are directors comments.

I simply want to copy a quality picture with normal sound to my HDD to stream to my PS3 and any other connected PC thru my NAS...thoughts?

I never did ps3 so i cant help. I either make mkv or blu-ray disk.

So anyone no how to make a copy of a BD that only contains HD audio to play from a NAS thru a PS3?

Or do I need to look for another streaming device.

Sorry forgot to mention you would need to have DVDFab Passkey installed and running when using BDInfo. As for the other questions on how to use BDInfo I would not know as I am still reading the info about it on their forum and website. Maybe another member here might be able to help with that

Alright, starting to get the hang of this, but still has some issues.
Sucks you can't copy the HD audio to stream thru the PS3.

Are there any recommendations on a media player that I can connect to my NAS and will play the HD audio from the copies?

Also, when I copied a movie and opened the stream folder, there were 30 individual files of the movie. Thought this was to be just the one movie file. How do you avoid getting multiple and have just the one?

Without starting another thread, have noticed a bunch of my BD movies ONLY have the HD sound and since you can't stream HD audio thru Windows media to the PS3..what are some alternatives?

Are there any other media devices I can connect to my TV that will stream the HD audio from my PC/NAS?

Also, asked earlier, but a couple movies had numerous files in the Stream folder, shouldn't this just be one file? How do you determine which video file is the correct one (only one file VS multiple)?

The discs that have multiple files are called seamless branching discs, meaning the files are scattered around in no specific order, and no one file is the main movie. This is perfectly normal, as this is the way the disc was mastered. If you stick one of these discs in, you will see that thats how it is on the disc as well. Like I've said before, don't try playing just the main m2ts file. If you want one m2ts file out of the whole BD, use the DVDFab Blu-ray Ripper module and use the m2ts passthrough option, which will create one m2ts file out of the whole BD, even seamless branching titles.

I use an Argosy MP (HV335T) to play BD content and converted, standard dvd files.
I'm not set up for True HD sound at present and my Argosy does not support True HD audio anyway.

In Fab > Common Settings > I have Always remove HD audio ticked.
With this setting, I never have issues on playback.

When I had first started with BD content not very long ago, I can recall receiving an error message on playback when I had not removed HD audio.
I think this occurred first with Star Trek.
I also remember being very frustrated until the light went on...DOH !...

Racem22 is exactly right and if needed, use mts passthrough.
From what you're posting, I doubt you'll have occasion to need it.

No, don't mess with the individual files and file structure.
The file structure that you're tinkering with isn't Fab's, it's the BD structure, ie.,
BD ----> BDMV (AUXDATA, BACKUP, BDJO, CLIPINF, JAR, META PLAYLIST, STREAM) \CERTIFICATE.

Thx again..I just wish to maintain the Tru HD audio with the copy and stream it thru ..something..and watch and listen. I will continue to use the actual disk and PS3 for this, but would like that same quality with the copies.

I know I am stuck on the PS3, but that's all I have right now, if there was another alternative that would allow the HD audio to play/passthru with the stream, I would look into it...wonder if this new Boxee device will allow this.

Well, get off the PS3 streaming hobbyhorse as it is just not possible!!!

Besides that, what sort of audio system do you have connected to your PS3? One capable of playing TrueHD? I bet not!!

If not, you are wasting all of our time and efforts, including your own!!!

so YES, I have what it takes to listen to Tru HD sound...so thx for your 2 cents.
