Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

Would be nice if you could test version 6 and report back if it works ok for you. This will then give the developers some food for thought.

I had this EXACT same issue, I posted logs etc. Honestly.. since it's not wide spread, and probably would take quite a bit of time if the dev don't have a computer that reproduces this, not sure they are looking at it.

          Try 8.0.1.1 - It worked for me where all other v7/v8 didn't (I haven't tried 8.0.1.5 so I can't comment on it).

One other thing you can try, is updating your video card drivers. I have no clue what changed in 8.0.1.1 but it magically fixed my problem. Report back if you can after trying, curious to see if it fixes yours also.

This has been reported by others there are a few symptoms (1) does not occur with dvdfab version 6 - but does occur with version 7 and still version 8 (2) only occurs with 'Main Movie' - if backup full disc then playback doesn't freeze (3) the freeze occurs at the exact same time every time, e.g. reproducable, also freezes at same place when using a different PC.

Therefore I believe the BR ISO file has a problem (maybe some corrupt frames). Does anyone know if there is a program to parse a BR file to check for corrupt frames?
yeah it works . dvdfab 6205 works for ironman eliminate al freezing problem using compression

Thanks for everybodys feedback. I just wanted to ask a few questions to understand how every ones uses DVDFAB.

I have been loading a BR disc and using the 'Main Movie' option with BD50 (no compression) to save on my hard drive. Occassionally I also used 'Full Disk'.

But maybe I should use 'Clone'. After creating a clone iso on my hard drive then i can use this to create my 'Main Movie' iso. So my question - has anybody experienced 'freeze' playback from a clone iso?

I don't understand the difference between 'Full Disk' and 'Clone'?

You really shouldn't use old versions of DVDFab, because if everyone did that, how would the new version get fixed? Stick with the new versions(since they're here to stay) and help with bug finding.

                          Hi Race.

I think you are a little incorrect here.

I keep all major versions installed (3,4,5,6,7 & 8) and when, like the current Bugorama Version 8 doesn't work, you often find that a previous version does.

what does (removed "read the general policies") mean??? And where can I do this at?

Also, when using version 6.2.0.5 the program completes crashing when loading any Blu Ray disc. It says Program not responding and gives the windows trying to find a solution error.

I tried reinstalling and still have the same issue

Still have not been able to make a succesful back up that doesnt skip

Yeah you're right man. Sometimes it is fine to use a different version if something is not working correctly, but aren't older versions not supported on the forum? Thanks for the info.
