Yes you correct old versions are not supported on forum and if a member chooses to use old version then it their choice but if they want help with problems they need to use the latest version released wether it Official release or Beta release.

Why trouble shoot old version when new version could have fixed the problem

There is no rule or policy against supporting older versions in the forum, one user to another. The DVDFab support staff do not, and the Forum staff usually do not provide support for out-of-date versions however. It makes support more difficult and problematic in determining if a problem is caused by, for instance, a protection removal feature that the old version does not have.

I am using latest beta release and the software freezes seem to have been fixed. I have changed some settings and procedures so cannot specifically say what change fixed my problem.

Using 8015 beta and settings for latest imgburn (previously used VSO) and high quality (previously fast performance) I load a disc and perform a CLONE to save on hard disk. Then mount the CLONE and rip using Main Movie to iso on a different hard drive. I am not doing an compression.

UPDATE: 8015 is not 100% reliable. I still have one movie where 'Main Movie' iso flickers (doesn't actually freeze) but if play the Clone it is fine.
