M2ts file playable on Cyberlink but no audio unless its DD 5.1

I am hoping someone on here can help me. When I decrypt a blu ray and try to play the m2ts file with cyberlink power dvd i get picture but no sound. The only time I get picture and sound is when the audio is DD 5.1. If it's DTS 5.1, True HD or DTSHD I get no sound. The blu ray itself plays fine with all audio formats, its just the decrypted m2ts file that gives me problems. Does anyone have any suggestions? Are there any programs out there that downconvert DTS to DD 5.1? I know tsmuxer downconverts DTS HD TO DTS but that does not help me. Thanks to all who respond

Write up the solution for the Guides/Tips area and share it with everyone. I would have expected an update/upgrade of the player software would have fixed it. If it is a bug with DVDFab, report it here in the Blu-ray to Blu-ray sub-forum.

Not sure where the Guides/Tips area is. It took a little more than an update of the player software to fix it. In the end it played perfectly with windows media 12. In order to make the file play, a remux of the file was required.
Two video tools were needed to do this. TSMuxerGUI and MKVmergeGUI. Start out by opening TSMuxerGUI and browse to the m2ts file in explorer. Under output, select demux and browse to the location where you want the output files to be extracted. Click "Start demuxing". (Take note of the fps, in case MKVmergeGUI, asks for it later) Two tracks should now be in the extraction folder, a video track and an audio track. Now open MKVmergeGUI and drag the two tracks into the MKVmerge window. Name the output file and start muxing. (If MKVmergeGUI can not determine the fps, select the video track and then go to the "Format specific options" tab, from there, you can set the proper fps.) The outcome will be a mkv file. I then had to download and install CCCP Codec pack. Your mkv file will be defaulted to play with media player classic, I suggest you change the default to windows media 12, the quality is 100% better. Hope this helps.

Yes, Cyberlink PowerDVD 9 won't play an AVCHD with HD audio. It will only work with AC3 audio IIRC. It seems like I read one of the older versions of it would work though. There are several programs that can do the downconversion for you. DVDFab does it as well.
