    8085 has bugs - 8073 is fine

Seems like versions past 8.0.7.3 have weird bugs... first its was the vts numbers now I have ran into another disc that causes a process fail where 8073 works just fine with the same settings (cuda on) , the disc was Paper Heart...

here is the fail from the log:

    Hi

Please open Common Settings->General->A/V Codec, set all the video decoder options as software and set video encoder as software, then convert/copy again to see the result.

          I thought I did post the logs , did i miss a file ?

Just a note , the failure happens when doing the conversion from either a dvdfab or anydvdhd rip to hard disk... if I convert from the blu ray itself it works! Both rips to the hard drive were full rips(BD50)... maybe its a speed issue since pulling directly from the disc would be slower.....

I always full rip the disc to the hard drive first to save wear and tear on the drive and its never been a problem and like I said 8073 works without failure on the same ripped directory.... I did send the logs like dvdfab asked after it detected the failure....

I was referring to the failure you mentioned in post #3. I make all my conversions from files or folders on hard drive also and have very few problems. Are the failures from the bd version of the film?
