I updated to this new version and have gone from 48.3fps to 2.23fps
    same pc, no changes.
    amd x4 3.2ghz
    ati hd 5500 w/1gig ddr3
    4megs of ddr3 1333 ram
    win 7 64bit

software or DXVA make no difference
from disc or ripped to HD, no difference
trying to do the movie tresspass

Have you tried more than one movie?

Others are reporting much faster speed so your disc is suspect unless all of them are the same speed.

          Hi seaurchin
          1) Make sure that your settings are set to software.
Open Fab click the Click the Green at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes and make sure they are set to Software, restart Fab and try again.
          2)
Please do not convert from your drive
First save it to your HDD as BD50 "Movie Only" without compression.
Then open the hard drive folder and use the folder on your HDD to do your converting.
Doing it this way saves wear and tear on your optical drive and is also faster.

Saved to HDD and still slow

I did everything that you suggested and it is still 2.4fps.

Then I tried it with the movie Avatar & BluRay to DVD ran at 60fps
Must be the movie Trespass for some reason.
After further testing dvd to dvd and blu-ray to dvd with any other movie is fine,
            faster than before.
What program do you recomend to copy BD50 movie only to HDD?

            Thanks
