General Question Cinavia Alert

Does the Cinavia Removal Tool give an alert when it detects Cinavia on a source disc and does it then downconvert Master Audio to 5.1 DD AC3?

It converts to multichannel LPCM audio. It gives the alert if the title is on the list as unsupported. If it is supported it alerts you and proceeds with the "repair" unless you cancel it.

Will LPCM output via HDMI or will I need to use my 7.1 analog outputs?

Depends on your player, but should be OK on HDMI.

LPCM is different than bitstream, correct? I want the HD codecs (DTS-MA and Dolby TrueHD/ATMOS) on the discs. Will this tool still bitstream the HD audio?

No, if you want those you will get the Cinavia also. The output is LPCM 5.1 or 7.1. This and other questions are answered in the sticky threads, please look them over. There are links to additional information on the Fab website there as well.

Why does this tool only work on certain movies with Cinavia and not all of them?

It is a new product and the stream repair is very labor intensive. There has not been enough time yet to work through the backlog of titles. They try to do the most recent one first.

I hope is not only english version supported and others language need 1 year to get it ... I appreciate the professionalism of dvdfab. But french language was not supported for each Cinavia disc for now

PS: i unistall dvdpasskey dvdfab, clean up, restart pc, reinstall dvdfab 9.2.3.1 and dvdpasskey 8.2.6.1 and thoses 3 titles in canadian version work now : hitman, spy and the matian worked

Check the Supported list carefully, the supported ones all have a minimum DVDFab version requirement. This makes it even more important to keep up to date.

All got Cinavia in french and spanish language and no one have be repaired on french and spanish language. I just said don't forget us plz I have the link and i check each day I know english was the most important.

Not forgotten, for sure. The process is highly labor intensive and time consuming.
