Removal for Blu-ray Cinavia not being removed

I'm not sure where to post this, if in the wrong place, please move to the right section. Thank you.

    I'm using an iMac.
    I purchased Blu-ray copy.
    I purchased Cinavia removal lifetime.

The list title is GREEN for confirmation of Cinavia removal.

When I insert the original movie, pop up says, The disc contains Cinavia.
    1. I choose main movie.
    2. The title shows: Movie title, C>> (logo for Cinavia in purple) BD25 1080P/I, Blu-ray copy.
    3. In the Audio pull down, no Cinaiva logo at all

    Why is this?

These four movies are GREEN in the Cinavia list. Yet in my audio pull down, the Cinavia logo does not show up as it will be removed.
    The Last Witch Hunter
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 2
    Fast and Furious 7
    Kick-Ass 2

I'm certainly not getting what I paid for.
Is it because I'm using a iMac?

No help from DVDfab as to if it's iMac related?
Any other members (PC or iMac), same movies, Cinavia not showing up in the audio section pull down menu ?

          Hi,

Did you updated DVDFab to the latest version?

For The Last Witch Hunter and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 2, the ac-3 audio are not supported, HD audio only.

And also please post the log file, thanks!

            Thank you october262.

I've read the guide. What I'm sharing here is that what the guide says should happening...is not happening in my pull down. Here is what it says:

            Step 2 â At the audio selection box, select the Cinavia affected audio track and at the same time click on the Cinavia logo until there is a red slash across it, choose the output size as BD-50 or BD-25, and then choose an output path to start the backup process;

As I've said in my first post, the audio selection box does not show the Cinavia logo. So how can I select it, when it's not there.

The region of the blu-ray is "A". Which is my region.

              Hello calcu007,

I have purchased CineviaRemovalHD. Says: Never Expire. Says: Activated.

When a blu-ray is inserted, DVDFab pop up says it has Cinevia. After that window closes and the Copy Main Movie window appears, I click on the audio section Box.

The audio selection box does not show the Cinavia logo. Being the logo is not there, I can not enable the option to remove it.

                Hello Wilson,

I always make sure I have the latest version of DVDFab before I open the program. As of today, I have the most up to date version, 9.2.3.9.

My system is 5.1. I always choose the best digital format available on the disc and uncheck the lower quality versions, like ac-3. Most of the time the dics are DTS-HD Master 5.1 or 7.1 (reason I uncheck the others is because if I'm not using it, why have it. Less is more, right)

Sorry to say I'm not as tech savvy as most here. I like DVDFab for it's simplicty. I will try and find the log and post a link to those movies.

I appreciate your help Wilson and really want to get Cinavia to work. That's why I paid for the never expire edition.

                  Wilson, anyone, pls help.
In the DVDFab_internal.log section, how do I copy the section that pertains to the movie and make it an attachement. I have an iMac.

It is just a text file, you can open it with whatever passes for a plain text editor on your system. Copy and paste the relevant log session to a new text file and upload it to a new post using the Manage Attachments button which appears below the window where you enter the text for a post. You may have versions of the discs that are not supported, the file will show us.

I would think its the audio track problem....

The Last Witch Hunter - This one, I bet it has the English 2.0 track (NOT supported yet) and not the English 7.1 DTS-HD track (supported). Quite a few people have ran into this.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 2 - This one, I bet it has the English AC3 track (NOT supported yet) and not the English 7.1 TrueHD track (supported). Quite a few people have ran into this.

Fast and Furious 7 - Not sure about this one. MAKE SURE it has the English DTS-MA track (only one supported) and not some other type of English audio track.

Kick-Ass 2 - Not sure about this one. MAKE SURE it has the English DTS-HD MA track (only one supported) and not some other type of English audio track.

Seems that many of the lower quality and rental type discs have the lower quality audio tracks that are not supported yet.

You have to make sure that the disc that you have has the higher quality, supported audio tracks in many cases. Which means watch out when buying the used discs at the video store rental sales/clear-outs.

Without the log files we are guessing.

Sorry, I didn't mean the entire thread, I meant the one post I was trying to get an attachement too. When hovering on "Edit" it says, "Edit/Delete message". How do I delete message?
