Has universal studios stopped using Cinavia on the movie home releases like Sony did? On the cinavia protection blog only lionsgate movies have been using cinavia for a few months now.

This started late last year, I guess they found it was hardly worth the expense.
Blu-ray titles released with Cinavia for January through June of each year:
2016: 47
2017: 35

It's probably due to people complaining that their original discs were triggering cinavia on some players.Comment

And the audios of the Liongate UHDs are clean of Cinavia, only the Gods of Egypt are affected.

Seems like the usage of cinavia will sone be gone for blu rays. I haven't seen any updates for Lionsgate movies with Cinavia for august. Are Lionsgate blu rays still using cinavia since august started?Comment
