Uninstalled previous version, reinstalled beta version, program crashes when started. Older version works fine.

Did that, No Joy, still crashing
I don't know why the 8.0.5.8 and the 8.0.5.9 version is not showing up in the log file.

                        Hi, railroader
                        1. Please try to close antivirus software, then open DVDFab.
                        2. Please uninstall all DVDFab from your PC, and reinstall the newest version to try.
                        Thanks.

UPDATE: This problem appears to have something to do with BITDEFENDER 2011 Pro,
Something about Bitdefender 2011 Pro is causing my DVDFAB8060 to Crash. I can uninstall Bitdefender (does not work to just Disable), and DVDFAB runs ok, when I reinstall Bitdefender, DVDFAB will not run again. Any thoughts on the solution? Thanks

Use a different Anti-virus program! Zone Alarm has no issues with DVDFab as I have it installed on 2 computers with DVDFab. Currently I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials with Malwarebytes Full Version on my 3rd computer and no issues as well

Well, that might be a one solution, but doesn't really fix the real problem, and it's my understanding bitdefender is rated high in virus programs.
