Ok, I just tried downloading the latest DVD Fab release and still nothing.

Disabling the path player seemed to work 55% of the way, but still no go.

How does it not work? Fail to open(analyze) disc? All discs? Just this one?We need more specific details of the problem.

After several attempts, DVD Fab can not open the source, now. This is the only disc giving me problems of three I backed up today. Also, the movie plays fine in my PS3 Player.

The fact of this being the only one of 3 indicates a problem with the disk not the software.

Down load nero cd/dvd speed and run an error scan on the disk.

Gruñón, this may be the problem. So far, surface scan showing good scan= 20%........ bad=79.5% , and damaged= .9.

Ok guys, I'm convinced this DVD is not suitable for backing up. It's still scanning and does not look good.

Yes it is defective.
Very doubtful you will ever get a copy of it.
