copy dvd 1:1

OK there is no Error Messages and dvdfab says it copied the dvd.

I have tried this on 2 different pc's. and done exactly what I have done numerous times.

Here is whats happening, Dvdfab reads the dvd and I select "Clone" the tell it where to put the file. When dvdfab starts to read the dvd the dvd light goes on for a second or two and goes off....... Dvd fab says it is still ripping but at speeds of 106.00 mb/s Then light on again for a few seconds at the end of the rip and dvd is copied in 1.5 minutes.....

Now this is not correct ( so I tried resetting DMA) and no difference.

And the 2 Computers I tried this on were of totally different parts.


The directory says there is a dvd and the file size 7,999,400 kb..

I tried to play it with VLC (like always) , I will see the Movie Menu but caint do anything, VLC locks up.

Vlc is ruled out as a problem.

Any Ideas >>

Make sure pathplayer is set to always enabled, if that is how it was set then try disabled.
Still no luck? Post your logs for that problem disc.

That seems to work.

I had to disable it..

Will affect coping other dvd's ???

Yeah be sure to set back to always enabled for new releases. Disabling is needed for older titles only (usually).

Hmm This was NCIS season 4...

I did not think it was that old.

You need to post the logs, burn and internal. It sounds like DVDFab copied the file systems but not the video.

Well, Season 8 is airing now so it must be at least 4 years old!!

I am glad thoe by disabling it I got it to copy..

Now to re enable it.
