    Cars Toons: Mater's Tall Tales

Anyone having issues with this disk. Able to download title 7(1), but after burn, when playing movie skips and freezes..
    Any suggestions

    #2
It sounds like the issue is on the burn process side, ie., burn engine, speed, blank media, etc., etc. and not the rip, but not enough detail to go on.

Are the files intact on the hdd?
Does the movie playback ok when viewed from the hdd with a software player such as VLC, Media Player Classic?

Please post your logs, in particular the burn log.

    The default location is:

    For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

Although regnad kcin should have asked, just exactly how and from where are you "downloading" title 7(1)??

This disc uses seamless branching and you can't play the VOB files standalone. You have to play it using the VIDEO_TS.IFO file to start playback. If you don't, the picture and audio will jump back and forth, sometimes playing the same scene repeatedly with different languages.

I think "download" in this case meant "copied to hard drive from the original disc which I own".

I made mine with an older version of DVDFab. If I can locate the original disc I will try it with the current version.

                  Well, I drew the same inference as signals, which as it happens is correct;
but thank you for so graciously telling me what I should have asked.

                    Signals' post got me thinking...
by any chance did you alter the playback order of the titles with PathPlayer's advanced navigation features? (PP must be enabled for this option).

You also might try altering your PathPlayer settings. ie., disable vs. enable
(you probably had PP enabled on your current rip).

I think I've read where dvd shrink will decrypt this dvd, so disabling Pathplayer might work.
                    Worth a shot...

I apologize for putting words in your mouth that weren't there...

I am very aware of the forum's policy regarding copyright, and the word "download' triggers an almost automatic reaction from me... even though the user may mean something totally different.

I often forget that other, less experienced users than myself may refer to processes in a different way than I have become accustomed to...

                      Sorry...

Sorry, all I can find is the Blu-ray version of this. I have the DVD somewhere and will keep looking.
