The QT versions haven't worked since they came out

Since they have released the QT versions they have never worked on my computer ( Running Windows 7 Ultimate with 2M of ram it's a server nothing else is really on it I use it as a storage computer for all the others to access ) they'll sit there and do everything and then when it get to Open DVD Source it sits there and does nothing at all so i have to go to Task Manager and close the program manually and I start up 8.0.8.5 and it works like a champ never misses a beat here is the internal_log.

HELP!! I would love to make the switch but it isn't working for me..

Did you download the program from dvdfab.net or dvdfab.com?

Same problem if you use the same source disc as you used with the older version?

      Hi DCrusher
Please make sure that your settings stuck with the newer version, as some members have stated in the earlier QT versions that the settings had to be reapplied.
Open Fab Click the Green top right > Protection > Path Player click Always Enabled click OK restart Fab and try again.
      Hope this helps

          Hi DCrusher
Sorry to hear that it did not work for you.
To reset DMA Open Fab Click the Green top right > General > make sure Check for DMA Automatically is Checked and also Click the Reset DMA to the right click OK and restart Fab.

Done all of this twice it still will not even start up the Reader DVD rom to read it it just sits there and does nothing I have to start up task manger to kill it then I go right over to DVDFab 8.0.8.5 and it starts right up starts reading the DVD. So the QT version is still not working I can send another log file but at this point I don't think there is much Ya'll can do there is something holding it out and I don't know what is the difference from one version to the other..

              DVDFab Qt

I've been using DVDFab since the first version and have never had any problems.......until the Qt was released. Back in March, I had 8.0.8.5 running on my WHS with 2 USB DVD R/W drives and everything worked perfectly but none of the subsequent Qt versions have worked with USB drives. Same on my laptop - Qt works OK with the internal BR R/W but not with any external USB drives.....

I've carried out all the recommended setup and fix procedures but still get a variety of error messages when writing to external DVD drives.....

So, I'm not a happy bear at the moment as I have paid for lifetime subscriptions to all DVDFab roducts....

Please find and fix the Qt problems DVDFab.....

              Thanks

Also post the text from the error messages or screen captures. All the Qt versions have worked fine for me with USB and eSATA drives.

                      Hi DCrusher
Please uninstall your QT versions and use CCleaner to clean all leftover registry entries, then reinstall version 8106QT to see if it will now read the disc.

Also go into common settings and select "Read" and set the I/O mode to SPTI and give it a whirl.

I use windows 7 ulitmate 64 bit and they all work fine. I would be looking at conflicting programs myself. Maybe a full format and reinstall of windows.

I'm running both 8.1.0.5 and 8.0.8.5 this is the only way I can get stuff done when 8.1.0.5 doesn't work I'll try all the stuff above and let you know EXCEPT formating the computer is basically a Multimedia computer is does nothing other than a Server for the rest of the computers when this thing boot up the very basic programs load up another words when the Server is finished booting up there is a total of 42 process running compare to my personal computer there is 75 so I basically use it for editing music, movies, photos, and keep my website up to date, that's it. If there is a conflicted then it should have been with 8.0.8.5 too unless the programming has changed or something added to it if that is the case WHAT has changed I understand that it has something to do with the QT but I don't know is what the QT stands for..
