Versions 8103 and higher

Anything above version 8100 QT only have the ability to copy "Full Disc" only, the other options crashes DVDFab. Have tried their support for over a week now good response but keep getting the same work arounds.

Anybody having the same problems or possible solutions?

I am using v8.1.0.6 and not seeing this at all. Please send the crash reports if they appear and post the internal log file from the crash.

Hi Geno,
Please Open Fab click the Click the Green √ at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, select "Disable all GPU codecs for decoding and encoding". Try it again.

Terry5, Thanks for your help but I have done this before and nothing new. I did do it again and got the following report error. I think it is the same as posted prevouisly.

After countless emails with DVDFab support for weeks on end and a short time on this forum, I finally stumbled on what is causing the crash. In the common settings under General - Preview- uncheck playback (Show preview window automatically). After unchecking 8106 QT and all options run perfect. Hope this might help someone else.

Hi Geno,
Please make sure that you have selected "Disable all GPU codecs for decoding and encoding" and both decode and encode are "Software". Then restart DVDFab and try it again.

I have posted this advice many times: when DVDFab crashes or freezes when opening a DVD or just after, remove all discs and got to common settings and turn off Preview autostart and autoplay and disable the read ahead cache in Common Settings->DVD/Bllu-ray->Read.
