This is not a universal problem, it is working normally for me. If not for you, please post internal log files.

Try opening DVDFab in a different copy mode.

I just tried different modes as you recommended but it still does not work. There is not much in the logs except for "drive G". That's not the drive I'm opening (which would explain the hanging I guess).

One more thing to note that may be of some help. Drive G is "DVDFab Virtual Drive" which is not selected in DVD /Blu-ray -> Drives so I'm not sure why it's trying to read from that drive each time.

I’m getting the same behavior on some disks signals. The drive flashes then all activity stops, the scan indicator continues on screen but there is no drive activity. I deleted all the logs so I could capture this but it doesn’t progress far enough to create a log. Also when I click cancel the program locks up and I have to exit through Task Manager. This is just some disks, others work fine

By the way Passkey 8.0.3.5 exhibits the same behavior on the same disks. Same decrypter I would think?

I don't know if this is of much help but I also tried on an unencrypted source and still a no go.

I also am having the same problem, the led light will blink then go off. I also noticed that it does not ask to verify the disk origin . This is not a problem with my system because the other versions on my desktop are working fine.

                    Hi boys,
We have found this issue and will fix it asap. What's more, the region code selection is depended on the disc whether suppored. So please wait for the next release.
                    Best regards.

I raised this issue with v8.1.0.7 Beta, but for some reason my post was deleted. It didn't happen on all the DVDs, but most that I tried. Maybe it is region related.

You may try latest Beta, it probably fixes the issue. Don't have a changelog for 8109b

You can set DVDFab and Passkey to ignore your Virtual Drives in Common Settings->DVD/Blu-ray->Drives. I suggest everyone do this. By default, the Virtual Drives are scanned, which is not a good idea IMO and should not be a default.

Additional tip: This function (Drives) will also let DVDFab coexist nicely with the MagicJack USB phone device, just UNcheck the box for "(drive letter): TigerJet CD-ROM".

Please try DVDFab v8109 beta to see the result, I'm sorry for the trouble.
