    Error reading disc error 110

    Hey everyone,

    I was trying to do a backup and got this a read error

    When i put the disc in start the progran it goes to "read error" and wont go past that screen. I tried cleaning but no luck

      The log shows that PathPlayer is disabled? Have you tried it with PathPlayer always enabled?

      I may have misread that, anyway try it the other way.

        I did try with both enabled and disabled with the same problem

          Please try the latest release found here
          Also in Fab settings try clicking ignore all read errors automatically to see if you can now make a backup.

            Hey CBR929, I tried the newest version with no luck. I also tried ignore all and still got the same error message

              You may have a bad disk. you can download VSO Inspector for free and scan the probematic disk for damaged sectors, but you really need to have an on-fly-decrypter like DVDFab Passkey running in the background. Bad sectors are used in certian protection schema. I'll attach a couple screen shots to demonstrate. The movie is the original Tenkerbell, the scan without a deccrypter running shows bad (damaged sectors) with the decrypter running shows no damage. The disk backed up without problems.

                      My guess is it was v8.1.3.2, it took care of lots of protection issues.

                          Opps sorry everyone... Pretty much it was bad sectors, so i had to do some monster cleaning to get it fixed. I did use the newest version of fab with no problem....next time i will post what happend...again sorry guys
