    ripping in 1080

    Hi,

Currently using 8.1.2.5 and ripping to ISO format for viewing via a Mede8er. However, when I watch it shows 576i on the Panasonic TV and the Mede8er show the films to be 720*576 and 25fps.

How do I get DvdFab to rip in 1080?

Not for DVDs! It is not good practice to use a conversion process to try to upscale a DVD that begins at 720x480 or 720x576 resolution. Your player should be able to do this instantly, on-the-fly, during playback. The profiles and codec settings in DVD Ripper are not designed for this. DVD Copy, where you posted this, will not do it at all under any circumstances, since it does not fully decode and re-encode the MPEG-2 video from a DVD.

Logs attached after ripping Pirates of the Caribbean : On Stranger Tides.

Basically, I didn't realise that standard DVD is such a rubbish resolution.

          Blu-Ray from now on then.
