I have the first season of LOST; when I put it in the drive and fire up DVDfab the "open DVD source" patience window comes up and never closes. If I click the Cancel button the patience prompt stops, but the window never closes. When I run Task Manager it shows the "Open" as running.
I have used DVDfab successfully on other discs, so I don't know what to think about this behavior. So far I have tried discs 1 and 2 with the same results.
The disc does play just fine with the Windows media player. It is a Buena Vista DVD.

OK, never mind! Version 8.1.3.2 does the trick.
