error while copying and trying to play

Im new to this and just downloaded the free dvd copy software.

however I went to play an EX dvd store rental that i bought last week and this appeared

"Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card."

its never done this to dvds before - has this software messed with some of my dvd settings or somthing?

Im trying to play another dvd i got that day and its not reading either.

and when i tried to copy it use the dvdfab software it failed

The one before it also came up with an error.

btw how do I show the 'logs'?

Please post your logs the default location is:
For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
For Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
For XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
For Mac: /User/User name/Documents/DVDFab/Log

We need better information to be able to help you and the DVDFab internal log will have it, you can open and read the file with Notepad, then
copy the session related to these discs and paste it into a post here. The most recent entries in the log will be near the end, the oldest near the top. Some former rental discs are difficult to read cleanly.
