It would be interesting to see if fengtao finds anything on the R1 version of "District 9". I did not get any READ ERRORS/WARNINGS, extracted normally, a little slow start (See Post #27 this thread, plus it has a link to the other District 9 R1 thread).

@AGJ, I think you should at least rent the movie to watch it and see what you think. But YES the majority of the filming is documentary style, but the camera is pretty much stable, not the real shaky type like Cloverfield and Blair Witch

When the error message appears, just click ignore all. After 7-8 minutes it will complete. Mine played back without flaws.
Sorry i forgot to mention that.

Managed to do it with paid version of 6.2.1.5. beta in Movie Only mode. I had Pathplayer turned off and took off French. No errors popped up. Burned to DVD-R and it played fine. However, when I tried it with Pathplayer turned on, I would get the error.

Great to know you got it.
I never turn pathplayer off unless i have a real stuburn dvd.
Sometimes a dvd want even load until pathplayer is turned off. That is what i call a stuburn dvd.
I just click ignore all and take it from there lol

                    district 9

This was my experience in being able to record district 9.

I used Main Movie with pathplayer enabled using 6.1.0.5 (Asus recorder) and succeded, by coping it up to 99.76%, and then waiting for the error message to come up - I simply closed the messabe out and it then went to completion (100%) - The dvd recorder then opened up and I inserted the blank DVD disc, and was able to record it, and the recorded movie plays perfectly.

I first tried it on my Samsung recorder several times - that did not work. I tried on my Asus recorder and it did work on the second try, as mentioned in the first paragraph. Hope this helps, and DVDFab soon comes out with a regular fix.

The method I used in #67 did not pop up any errors.

i got the paid version of 6.2.1.5. beta to work on Movie Only. Make sure Pathplayer is disabled and choose title 1, not title 53.

                        good luck and thank you!

                        merry christmas to all.

I used paid version updated to 6.2.0.5. Did Main Movie and took out one of the audios to make it fit at 100% on DVD5. Had to click Ignore 5 times. Process completed with 127 unreadable sectors skipped. I had PP on Always Enable. Seems to be working. Plays in XBox 360, ffwd, rev, next chapter tested. Attempting to copy backup now.

This what worked for me. I"m using Version 6.2.1.5 Beta (HD Decrypt only aka free version). I disabled PathPlayer, and then instead of full disc I selected Main Movie. On the next screen I selected Title(Angle) 1.

From that point on I proceeded as I normally do.

After it decrypted the file files I used another program to convert it to iPhone format. I have checked out the video just briefly to see if it plays, and skipped ahead a couple times and it all seems to be in check.

Thanks for this post and hopefully it helps out a few members who are having problems with this movie. Also if you are using the paid you can still do what HillBilly did using main movie as the free version is just a stripped down version of the paid

Try this if you have problem with District 9. I use Ver.6205. at first I couldn't read District 9 when it stopped reading it at the very end but later I turned off the Path Player and it worked.
