Will play in home DVR but not in the car

My copys will play in my home DVD player but none of them will play in my DVD player in my car

The car player may not support the blanks you are using. Try switching from -R to +R or vice-versa. And burn at 8X MAX.

In the interim, try bit setting the +R media...unless of course, you're already doing this.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Sorry to be so long getting back to you.

Bitsetting (or changing the booktype) is the process whereby the DVD+R disc's "booktype" is changed to DVD-ROM
which is the same as a pressed studio disc.

The disc isn't really a ROM, but players are "fooled" into seeing them as such.
Bottom line, this confers greater compatibility for play.

Your burner has to support bitsetting.
If not, you'll need modified firmware.

Generally, the process is easy - peasy.

In Fab > Common Settings > Write
            Enable
Set Booktype to DVD-ROM (Only for DVD+R/RW media)

There is a bitsetting tool in Img as well.

(For +R media, this has to occur at the beginning of the burn process)

As signals said, the -R media may work well too.

If you need more info or get stuck, just give a holler
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
