I too am not able to rip Hunger Games properly. I use the latest version 8.2.0.8 and I have a lifetime subscription. The disc is brand new and flawless. I've tried pathplayer on, full disc and movie only. I've tried path player off, full disc and movie only. Always with the same results. About one third of the way into the decryption it gives a read error. I assume the folks at DVDfab know about this problem and are working on a fix. They've never let me down in the past. Sometimes it takes a few days but they always work it out.

I can't duplicate the read errors your log shows. Please make sure you have PathPlayer in the Always Enable mode and also please post the UPC code (all the numbers, large and small) from the back of the box that your disc came in. I bought mine at BestBuy.

hi all,
sorry to see you are having problems like me, have been trying for two days to copy this disc, and have been in contact with dvdfab tech they say that i have a faulty disc that fab cannot read, i buy all my discs from the same company and have never had a bad disc. The film plays ok on my computer that i use to copy with. they say that dvdfab is more critical than the player when reading the disc,so the player will skip missing code when playing but dvdfab will not when reading.
so what next, do we give up or do we go out and buy another copy and hope that it will copy.

As I mentioned in the post, I have have tried with the path player enabled and disabled (as shown in the logs). I can only hope that a proper decryption will be available in a future update. For now, I give up. This is the first time in over 7 years of using DVDfab that it has let me down. I still think it is a great product and a great value for the money. It really is a powerful program. I can only hope that this particular failure does not constitute a precedent for future disappointments.

I have the Region 1 DVD of Hunger Games. v8.2.0.8 paid version cut through it without any problems.

just to let you know that i have just down loaded 8.2.0.9 beta and it works on hunger games, am copying as i write this, good luck to all it seams that the new code for "safe" works on the hunger games as well.

I also had the same issue with a region 1 disk . I downloaded version 8209 and the issue persisted until I always enabled path player then as you can from the log see the program worked. Thanks.
