DVD Copy to ISO file problem

Whenever I launch DVDFab 9.0.1.5 the following message box pops up.

This may be because I use Nero Burning ROM but I have installed it in a different directory to the default one.

Whenever I try to copy a DVD to an ISO file the process looks likes it all works, and the messages pop up saying it was successful - but there is no ISO file created. This is consistent over different DVDs but may be related to the above error message. As the message indicated I have uninstalled and reinstalled DVDFab 9.
The ISO copies worked fine when I used 8.2.2.4 QT

Here is the dvdfab_internal.log file from the attempted copy

I think you have analyzed this correctly, either put Nero where DVDFab expects to find it or try selecting the DVDFab burning engine or ImgBurn for your ISO generation.

      Hi,

Please specify the the path of Nero in Common Settings and have a try!

      Wilson
Please post your logs the default location is:
      For DVDFab 13: C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\DVDFab13\Log
      For StreamFab: C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\StreamFab\log
Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal log and post right here.
If it's the burning issue, please also attach burn log.

      Thanks!

I have my own standard for defining installation directories as the /Program Files directory is gets bloated with ancilliary items. In this case Nero is installed in /My Program Files/Utils/Nero so I won't be reinstalling Nero into its default directory. As I mentioned using 8.2.2.4 QT successfully creates the ISO file so the older version has no problem finding my Nero installation.

However using either the DVDFab or VSO Burning engines did create the ISO file correctly and also removed the error message pop up window at the beginning.

I've looked through the various DVDFab options and I can't find a common settings field into which I can specify the Nero installation path. Would you be able to give me an idea where I can find this field.
        Thank You

          Hi,

          1. Open Common Setting -> Drivers -> DVD Write.
          2. Change burning engine to Nero, it'll pop a warning dialog when you select Nero if DVDFab could not find the installation folder of NeroCmd.exe.
          3. Select OK on the poped up warning dialog.

          See my attached screenshot.

          Hope this help you!
