District 9, Region 1, Working

I got the same errors. This usually works AND DID WORK FOR ME: I loaded the original disk in a regular DVD player (would not even play on my computer), noted movie length (1:52:12). Disbaled PathPlayer in DVDFab 6.2.05 (VISTA) , closed and reopened the software, inserted District 9, selected Title 1 (not Title 53), showing 1:52:12, choose DVD5, main movie, disabled all but Audio AC 3/5.1 (no subtitles, no other audio), burned to ISO 3.99GB. Did have to try a couple of times though. Checked iso and works fine - 100%.

DVD Shrink was able to do a Movie Only/Reauthor Mode (Title 1) without any problems. Checked using VLC Player and it was perfect.

District 9

I had the same issue when I tried backing up my District 9 DVD in Movie Only. When it was close to finishing, I received the read errors. I chose "Ignore All" and let the process complete. The copy appears fine and fast forwards completely through the copy. I hope this works for all of you until the next version repairs whatever is causing this.

I can confirm that the paid version of 6.2.1.5. beta also works on Movie Only. Make sure Pathplayer is disabled and choose title 1, not title 53.

DVD FAB 6.2.1.5 beta (paid version) will decrypt District 9. Pathplayer enabled when necessary. Main movie or Full disc. Region 1. Remove some extra sound tracks in main movie only mode and it will fit nicely onto a single layer (dvd 5).

A follow up to post #14. The back up plays perfectly with no issues. Just find it weird that there are so many mixed results??? Also, to add to post 14, PP set as always enabled. Results were for complete disc.

Very strange I had no issues at all with R1, watched my backup yesterday, played flawlessly.

Then I burned the original from one dvd rom to another. It worked perfectly, then i put the completed movie on my hard drive.

Where are you guys seeing that? I get the same Read errors - I chose Ignore all - then when I put it in Shrink I see 1, 52,53 etc but I didn't see those when I put the original disk in DVDFAB

maybe I should try Main Movie instead of Full Disk
