combining multiple disks on DL?

Hi,I'm trying to make back-ups of The Seeker,season 1 (5 disks), and DVDFab is calling for Dual Layer disks...becasue fo the increased capacilty of the DL, can I combine mulitple disks onto fewer DL's, and how do I do it?

You can't put multiple full discs with menus on a DL but you may be able to put the episodes of two discs onto a single DL (without menus) using Merge mode, depending on the length/size of the episodes and how much compression you are willing to put up with. With typical encoding on TV show discs and episodes of about 42 minutes length you can generally get 5 shows on a DL with zero compression.
