dvdfab freezes when opening DVD source

When reading the DVD and the "OPEN DVD SOURCE" box is running after a period of time the box quits running the the computer freezes.

I have uninstalled DVDfab, ran Registry Cleaner and reinstalled with no success,

yes, change it back to always enabled. pathplayer is mainly used for newer movies that have strong copy protection.

This is only a problem with TV episode discs. Leave it set to "Always Enable" otherwise.

dvdfab freezes when opening DVD source

OK I disabled the pathplayer when backing up Breaking Bad Season 4 Disc 2 and it worked just fine. Then I moved on to backing up Breaking Bad Season 1 disc 2 and I've got the same problem of the program stalling at the "Open DVD Source" box.
Two logs one with the pathplayer disabled and one with it enabled.

Breaking Bad Season 5 Freezes

I tried different ways to backup breaking bad season 5 but it freezes when opening DVD source.
"Full Disc" with and without enabling "pathplayer".
"Clone" with and without enabling "pathplayer".
Same results.

run the discs through vso inspector to see if it gives you any read errors.

Yes it could, playing on a set top player and making a backup copy are apples and oranges. You can draw no conclusions because it plays.
