Epic dvd

hi all,
have just got a dvd called EPIC r2, this dvd will not open at source.
dvdfab process notepad states. two lines.
12:03:19 ANALYZING OF DVD STARTED.
12:03:30 TASK_1 FAILED! ERROR=102().
Anybody else having trouble with this dvd ?.

Post the complete DVDFab internal log. That error code means the disc could not be read, try cleaning it and blowing out your drive with an air duster.

Did you cancel it because it was taking too long? Was it still reading the drive or had it spun down and stopped?

it had spun down and stopped,
have also tried it in two other units one is a liteon dual layer unit and a new blu ray unit both units span up then stopped.
the first time I tried I left the dvd in the unit for over 15 mins before I cancelled it, also used the same unit to play the dvd on the computer that I use for copying.

I don't have the disc but will get it and try it also. There should be an update of DVDFab tomorrow or the next day, please download and try it when it appears.

Also, please post the internal log from the new version if it does not work.

I will try it also. Make sure PathPlayer is in 'Always Enable' mode.

For what it's worth I backed EPIC up back on Oct. 5th with whatever version was current at the time without issue. Full rip to the HDD as always and that is the date on the VIDEO_TS folder.

I just made a Full Disc backup with v9.1.1.9 with no problems at all. Try one of your other optical drives for the Source instead of the IDE drive (E:\), it may be in PIO transfer mode. My disc is Region 1 (US), yours may be different.

Ah, OK that is an entirely different kettle of fish. They will have to try and get the disc.

put it in dvd drive dvd fab tries to find it then stops i left it in and about 40 min later it suddenly picks it up and it then copies fine after that
