Can't copy Hunger Games 2

Hi,

I've tried to back up my copy of Hunger Games 2 - Catching Fire, using multiple versions of DVDFAB, but systematically encounter problems.

My copy of HG2 was bought in France.

Pathplayer is enabled.

Can you help?

The disc must have different protection than the R1 version, it is impossible for a DVD to contain 89361 MB. This will have to be passed up the food chain for repair.

The size in log file is shown normally. Some new DVDs are have many fake .vob files, It is a kind of protection.
Did you see the actual size(pic_1.jpg) in DVDFab?

Sorry for the delay responding, I didn't see the email notification of a response.
I'm now using 9.1.5.6 and still have the same problem.

DVDFab in Copy Mode is saying:

Output: DVD9
Compression ration: 20%
38.706 GB -> 8100 MB


Windows Explorer tells me that the siez of the VIDEO_TS folder on the DVD is 103 GB !

I've tried different versions of DVDFab, but these fake .VOB filesize issue seems to stop all of them from backuing the disk up.

DVDFab will read the DVD, and when I click on "Start", it appears to be copying the DVD but the progress indicator moves from 0% to 100% very quickly, and then tells me that it has failed.

Check the DVDFab Common Settings for PathPlayer, make sure it is set to "Always Enable" mode. This looks like a slightly different version of the protection that is on the R1 version of the disc. It is available on amazon.fr and possibly elsewhere. I think they will need to get the disc or the IFO files from it to correct the problem.

are you using the free version (HD decrypter) or the paid version?? with the free
version, updates for new dvd protections are delayed while paid versions gets
updates sooner.

I'm using the paid version of course :-)
I've been a paid-up and happy customer of DVDFab for years.
This is the first time I've ever encountered a problem that hasn't been resolved within one or two months by a subsequent release.
