Read error on "the Quiet Ones" Full Disc

Unable to make backup copy of "the Quiet Ones. I bought the disc today and tried to make a backup copy. Started process, full disc process started and after about 10 min got pop up reading/writing error control, I chose ignore all, started running and 2 hours later still running.

You posted in the wrong forum, this is not a general question, it is specific to one disc. I will move your thread.

A read error like the one you got generally means either a defective disc or a disc with new protection. Since it was just released 30 minutes ago, no one has it yet for testing. If it is new protection you can wait for an update to DVDFab or try Main Movie instead of Full Disc as a workaround.

Thanks for correcting my mispost Signals, Though I've been a member a long time this was my first attempt to post and I wasn't sure where to put it. I tried the main movie setting also with the same results. In fact I prefer the main movie setting, but a couple of months ago I could no longer get subtitling using the main movie setting and as a hearing impaired person I need subtitling whenever possible to enjoy the movies. I also had the same issue as everyone else when trying to copy Main Movie with 8.2.3.0, 9.1.4.6 and the latest 9.1.6.3US. I thought maybe one of them would work but, alas, not the case. Will wait for an update from the DVDFab team.

I'm having the same problems as others with both V8 and 9.

I was able to copy the movie only but no menu. Trying with the menu now, can't read the disc anymore.

I've tried several different releases with Main movie and I receive read errors on all.

Temp quick work-around Fix for The Quiet ones Movie only

A quick work-around. using DVDShrink 3.2 (freeware)

Start DVDShrink 3.2 (freeware)
Do NOT "open disk" as usual.
Go directly to re-author mode - navigate to and select only title 20. Drag and drop title 20 into left window and backup or Rip that... it's the whole movie. Just the movie, no extras!
