It seems that I can no longer turn on the "Lightning Shrink" option, as
it is greyed out... Has something changed where I can no longer use this feature?
You have encoding set to Software, which is not compatible with Lightning-Shrink. If DVDFab set it to Software, it means CUDA encoding may no longer be available with your video card+nvidia driver combination (not a DVDFab change, part of an nvidia change, please see this for details:http://forum.dvdfab.cn/showpost.php?p=165749&postcount=1). Try setting encoding to CUDA manually, if DVDFab won't allow it, it is the nvidia driver issue. Still works for me with the 334.89 nvidia driver and an older CUDA 2.1 card (GTX-570M).

I don't know if this helps......downloaded a version and the lightning shrink was greyed out and should not have been.So I deleted the version and downloaded it again.Guess what...there I had lightning shrink again.NOW this has happened to me over some time twice already with different versions. If you had lightning shrink before you should have it always.Delete the program and re-download it.See if this helps.

This is not necessarily true, if for instance the user has updated to one of the Kepler NVENC drivers with a card that does not support this type of encoding.
