All attempts to update and/or fresh install stop at "libfdk-aac-0.dll" and will not proceed further...must abort each time. The error reads "MoveFile failed; code 5 Access is denied". Per CS advise, I have deleted all previous directories, uninstalled anti virus, installed in Admin, etc. all to no avail. Running Vista Home Premium 32-SP2, AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK-53 Thanks to all in advance for the assistance.

Sorry you are having trouble. If this were a widespread problem, the forum would be full of it. Please install CPU-Z (free) and make sure your CPU supports the SSE2 instruction set. There are very few issues that can crash the installer, especially if you use the Run As Administrator option.
