    A Madea Christmas won't decrypt

I am using Windows XP and DVD Fab v9.1.7.6 US. When I enable the pathway I get a message that tells me I either have to buy or renew DVDFab DVD Copy or wait for a new version to be released. When i disable the pathway I get a reading/writing error message.

Your DVDFab is in "expired" or HD Decrypter (free) mode, so it will not decrypt this disc or other titles with new protections. The protection updates are available first on the registered version with an active license. They are generally available in 60-90 days for the free version.

I have never purchased the DVD Copy.

I really only ever have a problem with Lionsgate as they always seem to update protection once a year. I have never once ever had this particular problem with the free HD Decrypter. With every update I have been able to successfully decrypt and I never had to wait 60-90 days to do so. Recently I experienced issues with Draft Day, but as soon as it was corrected/updated I was able to decrypt it no problem. Is this 60-90 day wait a new thing now? If so that's a bummer. It's more frustrating as I spent $80 for a Bluray decrypter that I really can't even use as there is ACC protection in the States.

I sincerely appreciate your taking the time to look into this. Thank you.

That is the way it is supposed to work at least. Don't you think that users that support the work of figuring out all the decryptions by purchasing should have first crack at it (and those using the free version should wait)? Seems fair and proper to me.

I wouldn't start to argue fairness at all or how things are suppose to work (despite how they have been in the past). Seems like an exercise in futility. And I would agree that people who do pay for it should have first crack.
At the same time though I would like to have my few minutes of sulking. : )
