Back up issue with Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb

Hello,

When I use DVDFab v9.1.9.2 to back up Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb....when I choose the play button, the DVD stops.

I have dvd path player enabled and the navigation option set to "jump to first menu"

I have tried disabling the navigation option and leaving it as its default.

Anyone else having this issue?

Windows Media Player

and even tested it out on a Sony DVD player.

I even ran the ISO file using dvd fab virtual drive.

All the same thing.

I used version 9.1.9.2 to back up this movie without a problem. Full disk and it played fine. Region 1 US

Using version 9.1.9.6 playback of resulting files from hard disk fails (PowerDVD, multiple versions; goes into "stop" state) immediately after selecting "Play" at the DVD title menu when
Common Settings->DVD->PathPlayer->Remove annoying PGCs
is checked.

When that option is not checked, playback of the resulting files on hard disk is fine.

This is a PathPlayer problem related to the complex copy protection on this title. You can wait for a fix in a future version of DVDFab or try the following for a quick correction:

Download the attached file and use it to replace the VTS_04_0.IFO file in the VIDEO_TS folder that DVDFab made. This is a "short-cut" fix but it worked when I tested it with PowerDVD15. Without it, the "Play" button sends your player to a dummy PGC that issues an exit or eject disc command.
