I'm having a problem copying "The Taking of Pelham 123" which is a Sony disk. I have read elsewhere, I think that Sony movies can't be copied. When I try, during the riping part, it slows down to .34meg per second or slower and then the time to complete jumps up to 8 hours plus. I tried just copeing the main move with the same result. Thanks

Try giving the DVD a good cleaning with a spritz of eye-glasses cleaning fluid or Windex and a soft cloth, wiping from the centre of the DVD out to the edge (NOT the label side of the disk).
This kind of problem is typical of dirty DVDs.
Also please make sure pathplayer is set to 'always enabled' (Common settings =>pathplayer - common settings is accessed by clicking check mark in green disk on main program page of Fab).
And Sony disks CAN be copied - nothing special about them...

Make sure that you have an updated version of DVDFab and that you have PathPlayer in the Always enabled mode. Most users had no problem with this disc. It sounds like your drive may be in PIO transfer mode. Try clicking the Reset DMA button in DVDFab settings. If you need more help, post the log files and other information requested in the Help US Help You document, It is a sticky thread in this forum.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ As stated above Sony movies are not a problem to copy.
I did Taking of Pelham 123 this morning with no problem.
Movie only.
Pathplayer always enabled.

Took 11 minutes to rip to a hard drive and 5 minutes 23 seconds to burn to a disc using imgburn.
After following Signals instructions please post back with the results.
