Removal of US version of DVDFab???

Why is it when I tried to update DVDFab this morning from v9.2.1.6 Beta to v9.2.1.7 Beta, the following message popped up on my computer?

"A US version of DVDFab has already been installed on your system. In order to make all the features work as expected, the US version will be removed during this installation. Do you want to continue?"

Nothing about that recommendation sounds like a good, or safe, idea. Why do I need to get rid of the US version?

There is an update to the Meta Info feature that works better if v9.2.1.6 is uninstalled, although it worked fine for me without uninstalling. If you did in fact have the US version still installed, you should get rid of it.
