you can try using "main movie" and see if that works.
also some discs may take longer to open depending on the protection.Last edited by october262; 01-22-2016, 08:23 AM.

DVDFab can't read the disc correctly, it may be new protection or the disc may be defective or not genuine. If it is not the same Region as your Matshita drive, it may not work since these drives reject out-of-region discs before they get as far as DVDFab or anything else.
These readings in the log are not normal:
1m 20.48s: got copyright 1 d0
1m 20.48s: key method 0
1m 21.34s: got udf/iso
1m 21.98s: OpenSourceMedia global exception
1m 21.99s: Source manager: open failed, delete source id 0.
1m 35.48s: Source manager: drag file D:/
1m 35.49s: set folder D:/VIDEO_TS/ with type 0
1m 35.49s: opening folder D:/VIDEO_TS/
If you are trying to open it by drag and drop or with the "+" button, start DVDFab with no disc in the drive
then put in the disc without clicking on anything else and see if it behaves differently. If not, a developer will
need to look at it.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Guide: Using Images in Posts

Please have a developer look at it. I have about 4 DVD's that just got mailed to me from studios that have the identical problem. And I have tried starting DVDFAB with no disc, and have it import it automatically without using the "+" button. I have also checked the region of my Matshita drive. I have also tried other DVD drives to read it.
The DVD's come directly from the studios for screening, so I know they are genuine. Thank you.

Preview discs supplied by studios at one time had odd region coding and protection different from public release discs, not sure if that is still the case.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................
