Error 1000 in Windows 10 Event Log when Launching DVD Fab

I have uninstalled / removed directories and reinstalled. Still get EVENT 1000 when launching DVD 9. Starts to launch, says accessing servers then closes and posts error in EVENT Viewer in Windows 10

I have attached my log file. Scroll to the very bottom of the log file to review it

    Thanks

Try running dvdfab in the windows 7 compatibility Mode.
Also make sure to run dvdfab as administrator.

I did that and still just says "Accessing Server..." then quits. It was working just fine a week ago

Try checking your firewall / antivirus settings.

Removed my ESET Anti Virus and Firewall program, disables the Windows Firewall...rebooted...removed DVDFab...rebooted and reinstalled. Got to where I sign to authenticate activation and then it quits before I can enter in information and same ERROR in Windows Log

              Same problem here.

I have the same problem. None of the guidance above has worked. This started late last week and was also prior to me installing 9.2.4.2. I installed the latest hoping it would fix it, but it didn't. I am running Fast ring on Windows 10, so it may be something with a latest patch from Microsoft.

To get around most Win10 problems, try using the As Administrator option to install and run DVDFab.

It appears to be an issue with the latest 'FAST RING' version of Windows 10.. Build 14342.rs1_release.160506-1708. I believe everything was fine before that. Going to revert back to previous build and see

Any plan to update this? The anniversary edition will start updating windows 10 machines on August 2nd, and this will probably break DVDFAB for all windows 10 users that run current branch

If it "breaks" DVDFab will be repaired. Maybe M$ can provide users with a version that works for everything this time.

                        Windows 10 problems

A friend of mine got so frustrated with Fab windows 10 problems that he went online and bought a windows 7 desktop for less than $100 and has been okay ever since. He had windows 8 on his other computer and accepted the windows 10 upgrade and had all kinds of problems before getting it to work properly again. He now runs his fab on that windows 7 desktop he bought exclusively just for that and has been problem free so far.
