Crashing When Analyzing Title on DVD

    Crashing When Analyzing Title on DVD

    Every time I try to rip a DVD, it gets to the "Analyzing title" part of loading the DVD, this includes homemade DVDs, and the program crashes. I'm running Windows 10 on a Core i7 4.0Ghz machine with 16GB of RAM. I just installed the 9.2.4.4 update.

    Any idea why and how I can fix this? Very frustrating to have paid so much for this software and have it stop working.

          It has not stopped working, you are not using it correctly. The log indicates you are attempting to use Video Converter to convert one of the VOB files of a DVD into something else. This will not work, Video Converter works with files that have already been decrypted and converted, i.e. Video files (MP4, WMV, MKV, AVI etc) and lets you convert them to a different format. If you want to make a video file from a DVD you must use the Ripper module and select the output format you need or want.

            I am using the Ripper. This is not the first time I have ripped a DVD into an MP4 format. I was trying whatever I could to try and and get it to do something other than crash when analyzing the the title. When you click on converter it doesn't even go through the "analyze title". That is only done when you are using the Ripper. It worked perfectly fine on my Windows 7 machine but not my Windows 10 machine.
