How do I get the log files? All the DVDs are fine-unscratched and clean. I guess I need to go get some new ones since everyone seems to think Memorex is crap lol I downloaded ImgBurn and I am trying that now :-) Thanks to everyone for the help!!! Hopefuly this will work. I will be back in a bit to report if the changes worked!!!!

                  Hi Merkle,

                  Let's keep this simple.
We need details in order to help you.
Please post one or two burn logs, not all of them.

                  The default location is:
                  C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log.

Please just copy and paste the burn log(s) and post right here.
This way they won't be too long.
You must have a helluva huge file if you can't post it; either that or something else is coming along for the ride.

My sense here is that we're going to recommend that you switch to Img (another and more reliable burn engine) and dump VSO (the default burn engine and the one you're using).
But one thing at a time.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

You know how to whistle, don't you, Steve? You just put your lips together and... blow. | Lauren Bacall | "To Have and Have Not" (1944).

The other two logs are too long. I tried switxhing to IMGBURN but I can't get that to work either. I am afraid I have switched too many things I don't know anything about and messed it all up. SHould I perhaps delete the whole program and download it adain....start from scratch??

You're using a slimtype drive in a laptop, I suggest getting a good external drive because lappy's produce to much heat and my guess is yours bit the bullitt.

merkle that is an option to delete every thing and start over I would also set your burn speed to half of your disc speed which would be 4x for the disc's you are using.
Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.
