ISO file conversion and DRM removal

I copied a dvd disc so i can send it to my ipad. How do i convert the iso file and does the copy remove DRM?? I heard that Apple is preventing dvds with DRM. Your help please

You should use the DVD Ripper module to convert an ISO or VIDEO_TS folder to an MP4 file to play it on an iPad. All protections are removed in the DVD Copy process.

It will work for most DVDs but few Blu-rays.

The Ripper module which you need to use is not free. It does have a trial mode

HD Decrypter is just the name of the free version, the software is the same, but the functions are different between the free and paid versions. If you want to be able to decrypt recent titles, you would need the paid version. For making copies from disc->ISO or folder, you need the DVD or BD Copy module. For making copies from disc or folder to a file (like MP4, MKV, AVI etc), you need either the DVD or BD Rippepr module (or both). Both the Copy and RIpper modules can remove protection from disc content, so you may not need both Copy AND Ripper, that is, you do not need to process the disc with Copy first before making your MP4 file, it can be done by Ripper alone.
