cannot open dvd source

have just got "ANNIHILATION" us region 1. this dvd will not open in dvd source, ?.
anybody any ideas am running windows 10.

Does the disc show up in Windows Explorer after you insert it to the PC drive?

If you can see the disc in Windows explorer, open it and see if it has a VIDEO_TS folder inside. If yes, open that folder and look at the files inside, you should see IFO, BUP and VOB files. Please tell us what you find.

hi there,
shows two folders video and audio. inside video folder there is VIDEO_TS,BUP AND VTS_01_0.VOB to VTS_01_8.VOB.

Hi mickey,

Please download and install the latest version of Passkey 9 at http://www.dvdfab.cn/mlink/download.php?g=PASSKEY and then use it to load the movie disc again and see if it will make a difference.

have tried passkey 9 ran for about 100 seconds then stopped at about 60 seconds displayed read error pressed ignore ran on to 100 sec then stopped.
Sorry do not know were you find the passkey log ?

2 things to check - 1st click common settings - dvd - pathplayer - check to make sure that you have "always enable plathplayer" checked.

2nd - common settings - dvd - dvd protection - make sure that you have "cloud decryption service enabled" checked.
restart dvdfab and retry the disc again.

Please provide a buy link where you purchase the movie disc.

Also, please open the movie disc in Windows Explorer, copy all the ifo and bup files which are under VIDEO_TS folder to a new folder, zip it and send it to us. Thank you.

this film was ordered from a internet site,
find enclosed the zip file you asked for, the VTS_01_BUP file will not copy just says " can`t read from the source file or disk" so cannot send to you.
