Seemed to be the CPU speed was at 5%...I changed it to 100% and turned off computer and then back on and re-tried a disc and it backed up less then 25 minutes...then tried another and smae thing. So it appears it was a CPU internal speed issue

well well it is not fixed after all. I backed up 2 discs that went well, quick speed and all. Then from that point on it is back to taking well over an hour. CPU speed was showing high, now it is back to almost zero. I went to the computer and looked at the speed and it was still set at 100%...so that is not the issue. I am trying to back up now and it is at over 45 minutes. Like I said previous discs were doing fine but not now

We are still trying to reproduce your issue but for now, it only takes about 20 minutes in our tests, no matter we use AMD or CUDA graphics card.
Please check and make sure that no antivirus software or firewall is blocking the use of DVDFab.

I went to my firewall...looked at dvdfab..it was on private....but looked like it was allowed through....I clicked on both public and private. Re booted...tried backing up a disc...it went a bit faster. It took about 33 minutes....which is a lot better but still a bit slow. The CPU meter thing up in corner or dvdfab goes up high then when it hits about 35-38% it slows down to almost zero and the backing up even seems to stop for a few seconds then starts up again. Its going fast, gets to 35-38% seems to actually stop, cause the time clock that shows remaining time just stops...then it picks up again and finishes up. So that slight delay at 35-38% is weird and causes the back up to slow down. But like I said I tried a disc that took 90 minutes and it only took 33 this time..but I havent tried any others yet. Might not till end of week....still kinda weirdness going on but it is better

Is having dvdfab on public and private ok or is that not right? Firewall wise I mean

No, sorry, we still could not reproduce the issue, currently we are not sure why it happens on your side. If you have another PC, maybe you can install DVDFab there to have a try.

1st - try checking for a driver update for your computers graphics card.
2nd - uninstall all of your computers DVD drives restart your computer and let windows reinstall the DVD dives.
then retry your movies to see if that helps.

I been working through what has been suggested. I honestly think it might be a issue with TV related discs, or Sony related discs. For example, I backed up Young Sheldon season 2 and it went well. Tok under 20 minutes. I also backed up Modern Family season 10 and it also took under 20 minutes each disc. Then I went and tried to back up The Blacklist Season 6 and each disc took over an hour. Nothing changed on my end. So it very well could be an issue with Sony related discs or certain TV series or studio related. That is what I am thinking now. It might be a studio thing, maybe certain studios have extra things that prevent a smooth back up. So far it seems to be Sony and possibly Fox related shows.

Please supply a purchase link for getting The Blacklist Season 6, links for other TV series or Sony related discs are okay too. Thanks.
