I’ll wait for things to be sorted out some more.
I don't think "long shots" are in order to make beta versions work properly.

Version 6.2.2.0 was the first to have an expandable window. Perhaps that is part of the problem?

Have decided not to instal any since then (the 7s) until they are more stable and proven.

But it’s not just my computer. Lot’s of other users have reported the same problem after version 6.2.1.8. And the USS Oriskany is just a few miles away from me in the Gulf of Mexico!
