    105 HWS_TOOBIG 5 // Files are too big to fit on a DVD+/-R(W)
I'm sure they will have a fix for this movie very soon.
Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

I have been a DVDFab for several years before you. The first DVDFAB I bought was DVDFAB 3. I know that they have been very fast in fixing the problem. It has been 8 days and 10 pages from where this problem was first noticed. In the past Fengtao has posted that he is working on the problem or waiting for the DVD in the mail. Everyone is saying that they are "sure" there will be a update soon. I know there are other ways around the problem. If you lose electric power, everyone can say I use a flashlight, I can use candles, I bought a generator, I can use wind power and others can say you can use solar. All I am saying is, does the power company knows we don't have power. After 10 pages, there is no post from Fengtao saying he is aware there is a problem. I will hold my horses. I believe he will update it soon if he is aware there is a problem.

        Sherlock Holmes

Ditto to the previous post. Perhaps Fengtao can just give us a little note of reassurance like "I know; I'm working on it; out soon!" Thanks.

          Sherlock Holmes will not burn

Sherlock Holmes will not burn. I have read some of the other posts but (yes a newbee) do not see what the consensus on the easy fix? I just get failed to burn error code 105 ? I believe it was. Is there not a simple fix ? DO I need some other software. As for turning off pathplayer? I did not see this option. Feel free to talk to me like a child, because I feel like one when this does not work???? Any help would be appreciated?

I had the same problem with Sherlock Holmes. I moved a copy of the original disk as DVD 9 with DVDFab 7 to a hard drive only removing the copy protection. The copy was then compressed by Nero to DVD 5 successfully. I tried copying the original disc to hard drive as DVD 5, but the resulting DVD had a lot of artifacts.

I manged to back up my copy

Yes, it looks like DVD FAB 6 and 7 can not compress this flix to DVD5 size.

                (1) Copied it to my HDD as DVD9 with DVDFAB
                (2) Compressed that copy with DVD Shrink to an ISO file.
                (3) Burned the ISO to a DVD with Roxio.

When I compressed it with DVD Shrink, I opted to re-author.
I removed all of the extra titles.

                    turn-off path player

to answer the one having problems burning the sherlock holmes and couldnt find the path player to turn-off it should be under the lil green check mark from there u click on the path player and then select it to off. I am trying this route now as I have encountered the same problem.

I agree that some kind of feedback would be nice so we don't keep posting and looking for answers that are not there yet. You know, just a hey guys we're working on it or trying to find a solution. Something so we know that we are not out there by ourselves.

Please give it a break. The Fab team will address this when they have all the released disks !!!!

Just to clarify is the DVDFab issue with Sherlock Holmes limited to compressing to DVD5? Would backing up (Full Disk - no compression) to DVD9 have no issues? I'm planning on picking up the DVD (R1) from Wal-Mart tonight and I usually like to back it up first.
