    Title naming issue in 7.0.3.0

While using 7.0.3.0, I noticed that while naming the Volume Label, it will not let me type spaces.
More over, if space is entered, the cursor jumps to first character location.

Makes is for Interesting title where for example "House - Season1 - Disk1" ends up being "Disk1-_Season1_-_HOUSE"

    Running Win7 32.

Have not had this issue with the DVDFab.

Not really that detrimental, it's just something I noticed.

Also, some time ago, I lost the ability to name my own size of the DVD disks.
I backup all my DVDs to my server, and I just edited in settings the file size for DVD5 and DVD9 to 9999Mb. That was none of my backups were ever compressed. Some time ago (8 month maybe?), with one of the releases, that option was taken away.
Can something be done about that? Maybe give option for DVD5, DVD9 and "Backup", or "Server" or something of that nature?

    Thanks,
    Mario

    Reproduced with space.

For DVD size: Just open Settings -> DVD / Blu-ray -> Write -> DVD size (DVD-5) -> Custom

+1 for the no spaces in Volume Labels problem. It's very annoying that I suddenly can't have spaces in the names of my movies when it was working with spaces just a few weeks ago.

The new beta has not corrected this issue.

What the Fab team have done here is adhere strictly to the volume naming convention which does not allow spaces nor illegal characters because it was creating errors in a lot of cases.

I seriously doubt whether it will ever be reverted because of this, but you can wish and +1 away to your hearts content........

Well then, that answers that. My low-tech work around of naming the movie with "_" characters for spaces and then replacing the "_" with a space after the rip is good enough.

I can certainly understand why this would be changed if it was causing errors, but I still believe that there is a bug in the way its working. What is happening is that on the first use of the space-bar, the cursor is simply moved back to the beginning of the line. On any subsequent use of the space-bar, an underscore is inserted and then the cursor is moved to the beginning of the line. In other words if you are trying to enter "Where The Wild Things Are" what you actually end up with is "AreThings_Wild_The_Where". It just doesn't seem to me that this is the way it was intended to work. I'm just guessing, but I think it was probably supposed to end up as "Where_The_Wild_Things_Are" and that it's just a minor glitch.

That issue aside, I would ask if it's possible to have this implemented as an option, say a check box for "Strict Volume Naming Convention" or something similar. It should probably default to being enabled in order to eliminate new users having the problems you mentioned. Then those of us such as myself that haven't had these problems and prefer the naming behavior the way it's always been in the past could uncheck the option and go back to using spaces.

Any updates on the naming issue fix?
How about an option to allow spaces and such?

Also, any chance to see HDD backup as option to allow for non-compressed backups without always having to change from DVD5 to DVD9?

                  Dear all,

The "space" should be allowed, please wait for next version, thank you for reporting.

                  Best Regards,
