Aspect Ratio

When I copy a DVD made from a TV programme (Sony Bravia TV and HD/DVD recorder) the original has an aspect raio of 16:9, but the copy made by DVDFab (Full Disc) plays with an aspect ratio of 4:3.

Is there a way to set the aspect ratio when copying? In the "customise window it shows 4:3, but I can't see how to change it.

There is no way to change it within the DVD to DVD copy mode of DVDFab. The discs are probably not authored correctly by the recorder. My LG standalone recorder has a setting for this when recording true widescreen content from the ATSC Hi-def tuner, but it is buried deep in one of the sub-menus. Check to see if yours has this. Depending on where the error is you might be able to fix it with IFOEdit.
