Window 7 Error "problem caused DVDfab to stop working"

Apologies if this was answered before, however could not find reference to it in the forum. I installed a trial version (7) of DVDFab today. Upon launching the program scanned the DVD however I receive error "a problem caused DVDfab to stop working correctly......". I reinstalled video and DVD drivers and have uninstalled and reinstalled DVDFab a few times, Still the same error. Any sugestions or direction to other sources. Thanks

There is no problem with Fab 7.xxx specific to Win 7 that I know of.
There are many users running both without issues, myself included.
    Is everything else working ok?

There are many possibilities, but here's the lead suspect based on what you said.

Please uninstall Fab 7 if you have not done so...use the Fab uninstaller.
D/L a fresh copy of v.7062, but do not run.
Save it to your hdd, then right click on the installer and be certain to run as administrator.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Please post the log files listed in the Help Us Help You document in the DVD to DVD forum. You can attach them to a reply post. In Win7 they are usually located in C:\Desktop\Libraries\Documents\My Documents\DVDFab\Log. Attach all three logs if they have anything in them. The filenames are: dvdfab_burn_vso.log, dvdfab_internal.log and dvdfab_process.log.

A Problem caused the program to stop working

Administrator's Note: You problem is similar but not the same as the one being worked on in this thread (yours seems to be title specific). I am moving your post to its own thread in the DVD to DVD sub-forum. Please read the forum General Policies.

            Reinstalled without success

I did uninstall DVDFab using its uninstaller and reinstaled by D/L (not "Run"). Still get same error. However I am now able to successfully "DVD to DVD" copy an unprotected DVD but not a protected DVD. (Previously I had not tried to copying an unprotected DVD).

You have downloaded the wrong version of 7062

                Problem resolved

Downloading and installing the CSS version resolved the problem - I have not seen the error again. Thanks
