    Problem caused program to stop......

When I start DVD to DVD and the program tries to "Open DVD source" I recieve the following error message:

"DVDFab is the all-in-one software package for copying Blu-ray/DVD and converting video file. has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

The only option I have is to close the program.
I've tried to uninstall and re-install. Cleaned my hard drive disks, cleaned my registry, and defragmented my hard drives and registry. Nothing seems to work. It was working just hours before this problem happened. I am running windows 7 (Build 7600). I have not changed anything on my computer since using DVDFab earlier.
Any ideas what could be causing this error?????? Please Help!!!!!!

I just downloaded the Beta Version 7.0.6.5 and it seems to be working. Still curious as to what could have caused the problem in case anyone else has this issue in the future.

When did you install DVDFab? Which version number worked, and did the crash happen as soon as you installed a new version? Which version number? Does it crash will all discs or the same one over and over? Please attach the dvdfab log files to your next post.

Try updating to the new beta release.

I installed DVDFab 7.0.6.2 on 3/9/10 and it has been working just fine until today. No, this did not happen after installing a new version (I've been running the same version for a while now). And yes, this happened with all disks. Thankfully the Beta version 7.0.6.5 seems to have corrected the issue.

DVDFab log files related to the crash:

I also tried other DVD's but erased all traces of DVDFab when trying to fix the problem.
I did not include the logs when using the beta version. Didn't see a need to.

Any ideas what could have caused this?

No, it could be one of many things, but glad that it's working for you now. If it happens again, suspect something else installed on your machine. Set a system restore point named "fab works" or something like that so you can go back to a working point if necessary.
