    Problem Backing up 2 discs

Ive been using DVDFab with great results for years. Yesterday I ran into 2 discs (meet the robinsons and second skin) in a row which I cannot backup. Both exhibit the same symptoms.

At some specific and repeatable distance into the backup, I get the error:

    Reading/Writing Error Control
Error while reading! Please choose what to do?
    Retry Abort Ignore IgnoreAll

The "total time elapsed" stops incrementing, and I need to use task manager to kill dvdfab, regardless of which option I choose from the window above.

I have performed a verify on both discs using the current version of speeddisk (called something else these days, I forget what). Although I am not certian how to read this thing, both disks do show a red bar (red = error?) at the approximate place in the disc where the problem occurs. This would tend to indicate that both discs are damaged.

However, both discs play with no problems in my cheap dvd player with no problems. Additionally, I have installed DVDfab on a second machine with the same results. I have since ripped a third disc (rattatouille) with no problems. Im starting to wonder if this is not some new copy protection I havent seen before.

As requested, here are the log files from the attempt.

Let DVDFab analyze the discs one at a time, and after analyzing, access the Info screen and click on the Send IFO files button. In the box at the bottom, briefly explain the problem and include a link to this thread.
